IT for God in service of His Kingdom.

Six months in Singapore · Follow my journey

Working for God with the gifts I have: six months strengthening the IT that missionaries worldwide rely on. From Singapore I help OMF keep their systems safe and stable. I invite you to follow along on this journey. Thanks to incredible support, my funding goal has already been reached!

A remarkable road to this adventure.

A few years ago, I never would have imagined packing my bags for Singapore. Back in 2020, faith sometimes felt distant to me. But it was exactly then that a deep desire grew to discover more and be of significance.

While doing the EH-Traject at the Evangelische Hogeschool, my passion for IT also blossomed: the behind-the-scenes technology that connects people globally. Slowly I realised: working for God does not only happen inside a church building — you can serve with IT and technology too. Now, these two worlds are beautifully coming together.

After short trips in 2022 ( Thailand) and 2023 ( Singapore) I saw firsthand that mission and technology go hand in hand. Now I am taking the time—six months—to fully dedicate myself and discover if this is my long-term calling.

Technology as a quiet strength behind the scenes.

Starting August 17, I am putting technology for God to work: full-time renewing and securing the IT environment at the international headquarters of OMF in Singapore.

The backbone of missions

Hundreds of missionaries rely on these systems daily. By keeping the IT secure and stable, they can focus on their calling.

Digital security

In areas where it is dangerous to be openly Christian, rock-solid digital security is literally a matter of life and death.

A different role, the same mission

While others cross borders physically or fly to remote places, I ensure their digital connection to the world remains intact and secure.

Goal reached! Thank you so much.

Thanks to overwhelming support, the target of € 11,000 for my trip (flights, accommodation, and living expenses) has already been met. I am incredibly grateful! Should you still wish to contribute: any extra gifts are deeply appreciated and will go directly through OMF towards unforeseen costs or the broader mission work.
